SENTRON PAC3100
The SENTRON PAC3100 is a power monitoring device for displaying more than 30 basic electrical variables and energy acquisition values (counters) in low-voltage power distribution. It is capable of single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase measurement and can be used in three-wire, four-wire, TN, TT, and IT systems.
The SENTRON PAC3100 is supported from firmware version 1.0. It can be connected to the SENTRON powermanager via the gateway functionality of the PAC4200 or any gateway (by means of the integrated Modbus RTU interface)
With the help of the basic measured variables (e.g. voltage, currents, energy values), extensive evaluations can already be undertaken in the SENTRON powermanager.
SENTRON PAC3200
The SENTRON PAC3200 is a power monitoring device for displaying all the relevant system parameters. As well as the basic measured variables, it captures extended measured variables (e.g. THD) and thus offers more than 50 values. Limit values are available for system monitoring. It is capable of single-phase, two-phase or three-phase measurement and can be used in two-wire, three-wire, four-wire, TN, TT and IT systems. The SENTRON PAC3200 with multi-range power supply can thus be connected direct in every low-voltage system up to a system voltage of 690 V.
The SENTRON PAC3200 is supported from firmware version 2.0.x. It can be connected direct to the SENTRON powermanager via the integral Ethernet interface using Modbus TCP.
As well as the measured value display, the SENTRON powermanager supports the following device functionality:
- Synchronization of the period
- Support for the digital inputs in the different modes
- Option for resetting the counters and the min/max values
- Evaluation of the status bytes and generation of the relevant messages

SENTRON PAC4200
SENTRON PAC4200 is a power monitoring device for displaying, storing, and monitoring all relevant system parameters in low-voltage power distribution. Compared to the SENTRON PAC3200, the SENTRON PAC4200 has extended measuring functions (<200 measured variables), an integral memory for buffering the load curve and events, as well as gateway functionality. It is capable of single-phase, two-phase or three-phase measurement and can be used in two-wire, three-wire, four-wire, TN, TT and IT systems.
The SENTRON PAC4200 is supported from firmware version 1.0. It can be connected direct to the SENTRON powermanager via the integral Ethernet interface using Modbus TCP.
As well as the measured value display, the SENTRON powermanager supports the following device functionality:
- Reading out the device memory (load curve and events)
- Gateway functionality
- Graphical display of harmonics
- Time synchronization
- Support for the digital inputs in the different modes
- Option for resetting the counters and the min/max values
- Evaluation of the status bytes and generation of the relevant messages

SENTRON 3VL (with COM11)
SENTRON 3VL are molded-case circuit breakers. They can acquire and forward status information, alarm messages, tripping information and threshold value violations (e.g. overcurrent).
The SENTRON 3VL can be connected to the SENTRON powermanager via the gateway functionality of the PAC4200 or any gateway.
As well as the measured values, the current switch status is also displayed in the SENTRON powermanager and can be switched with the appropriate authorization. There are three switching functions:
- ON - can be selected when the switch has the status "OFF" -> status "ON"
- OFF - can be selected when the switch has the status "ON" -> status "OFF"
- RESET - can be selected when the switch has the status "TRIP" -> status "OFF"
Note: Due to the mechanical properties of the switch, the status "TRIP" can be briefly reported during switch-on
SENTRON 3WL (with COM16)
SENTRON 3WL are air circuit breakers. They can transfer important information to the software to carry out diagnostics management, fault management, maintenance management and cost center management.
The SENTRON 3WL can be connected to the SENTRON powermanager via the gateway functionality of the PAC4200 or any gateway.
As well as the measured values, the current switch status is also displayed in the SENTRON powermanager and can be switched with the appropriate authorization. There are two switching functions:
- ON - can be selected when the switch has the status "OFF" or "TRIP"
- OFF - can be selected when the switch has the status "ON"
Note: The mechanical trip detection is not influenced, that is, if the mechanical trip detection is not reset, switching off results again in the switch status "TRIP".

Other devices
Any modbus-enabled measuring devices can be connected direct to the SENTRON powermanager via Ethernet (Modbus TCP) or gateway (e.g. SENTRON PAC4200) and RS485 interface. For these devices, there are then up to 50 configurable measured variables and up to 10 configurable status information items available.
